| CAUS is organizing a dinner for members, friends and their families, on the evening of 26th of February, to raise funds for the on-going Disaster Relief work we are supporting in the tsunami affected areas in Sri Lanka |
|
| As you are all aware, soon after the tragedy, from the Boxing Day onwards, with your help , we have continuously provided funds for medical and relief supplies, sent three shipments of donated relief material, funded a well decontamination project, for the survivors; and hosted a candle light vigil and multi-faith memorial service for the victims of the tsunami. |
|
| We have listened to the many of you who talked to us personally and over the phone, offering support and encouraging us to do more to help the people of Sri Lanka . We encourage you to make this event an opportunity to talk to other participants about your ideas and offer suggestions for future projects. |
|
| There will be a short 10-minute presentation on the current situation and the relief/rehabilitation work planned for the future, during the dinner. Our members and children will do a musical presentation to make your evening enjoyable. |
|
| A group of Sri Lankan Chefs will try to make a typical Sri Lankan meal into a memorable dinner. |
